UPDATED 5/23/18:

Here’s the video of the full talk from the conference. You can also watch the video we referenced from the first Happily Family conference, talking about the positive purpose of anger on my YouTube Channel.

My friends, Cecilia and Jason Hilkey have brought together the “village elders” (such as Daniel Siegel, Jessica Lahey, and Carrie Contey) to help them lead a life-changing online event, the 5th Happily Family Conference. I’m grateful that I’ve been able to speak at each of the previous conferences and have been invited back once again.

They’ve created a tribe of parents (and professionals who work with children) who come together for a few days online, from over 200 countries.

This conference is offered at no charge, to share how parents and professionals can help kids develop social emotional intelligence, mindfulness, and resilience.

This conference is for you if:

  • You want to use connection and communication to solve behavior challenges
  • You don’t want to resort to yelling, threats, or bribes with your kids
  • You find yourself falling back into “unhelpful patterns”
  • You freeze, or get stuck in power struggles

It’s an event dedicated to answering the questions: What do kids need to thrive? How do we help them acquire those skills?

It’s called the Happily Family Online Conference. And it is completely FREE.

Please join me for this important online event from You’ll hear over 25 experts offer effective tools to raise kids who are capable and compassionate.

This only happens for a few days each year. Come to learn, laugh, and connect with your tribe.

See you there!

With Gratitude,
Dr. Joseph Lee

p.s. The schedule has been announced and I’ll be speaking on Friday May 11th, along with Jessica Lahey, author of The Gift of Failure.
